QualitEE project publishes draft European quality criteria for energy efficiency services
02/02/2018
The QualitEE project has reached a key milestone by publishing the draft Guidelines of European Technical Quality Criteria. The guidelines are designed to break down the key aspects within energy efficiency services into components that can be individually assessed for quality, known as the ‘quality criteria’. This tool will help public and private clients, energy service providers, financial institutions, procurement staff and policy makers to assess the overall quality of individual energy efficiency services and will form the basis of future assurance schemes. This is expected to drive standardisation and increase trust and therefore investment in energy efficiency services.
The draft guidelines are undergoing a comprehensive feedback process until the end of the year 2018. You can download the draft guidelines and provide feedback, as well as register for European discussion workshops on 22nd March 2018 in Brussels, here.
